Flywheel Covers
Spun from aircraft quality, aluminum these flywheel covers are designed to keep objects from getting tangled up in flywheel ( towels, ski ropes etc.). They are not designed as a scatter shield nor are they intended to carry any weight other than a driveshaft cover. The flywheel cover is 14 3/4" in diameter and 2" deep. The center hole is 5 1/2" in diameter with a 6 1/2" bolt hole circle (5/16-18 threads) to attach a Jet boat style driveshaft cover. V-Drive style flywheel covers have a 5 1/2" diameter center hole with a 7" bolt hole circle ( 5/16-18 threads) and use a telescoping style driveshaft cover. Chevy flywheel covers use the stock bell housing bolt pattern to mount in conjunction rear motor plate to carry the rear weight of the engine. Ford flywheel covers use 2 of the stock bell housing bolts and 2 bolts that are threaded into the rear motor plate, which also carries the rear weight of the engine.
