Lightning Performance Marine has been manufacturing exhaust systems since 1973 and in 1992 developed the first low cost water jacketed header for the performance boater. Two basic styles are available.

Standard Magnum Fresh Water Header

Our most popular header has 316L stainless steel inside tubes with mild steel outside tubes.  The inside of the header has a silicone coating that protects the steel tubes and the header is powder coated black. Optional colors available.  More info

Stainless Steel Magnum Headers

Our SS Magnum header uses mandrel bent 316L stainless steel tubing on the interior and exterior tubes and is heat treated. Black powder coat is standard. Optional colors and polishing available.  More info

STANDARD MERCURY HEADERS

    These headers are designed to be a direct replacement for Mercury manifolds.  However they terminate about 8" aft of stock manifolds and are projected to meet the exhaust tips providing they are in the stock location. For that reason the boat must be measured to verify application. Click on part number for options and more info. 

JET & V-DRIVE STYLE HEADERS

    These headers are designed for Jet & V-Drive applications.  The primary tubes are longer and the collectors point down at a steeper angle.  Click on part number for options and more info.

EXTRA TALL HEADERS
